What We Install
The EV charging landscape is fragmented. Tesla uses proprietary connectors. ChargePoint uses standard SAE Combined Charging. Level 2 Charging (240V)
The most common residential solution. A Level 2 charger delivers 4–11 kW, adding 20–40 miles of range per hour of charging. We install hardwired systems (like Tesla Wall Connector) or plug-in models with circuit protection, weatherproof enclosures, and integration with your home's energy management system. Cost typically ranges from $1,200 to $3,500 depending on electrical upgrades needed.
DC Fast Charging (Commercial)
For multi-unit properties, workplaces, and public networks, we design 50–350 kW DC charging stations. These require three-phase 480V service, dedicated transformers, and grid interconnection approvals. Charging times drop to 20–40 minutes for a full battery. We've commissioned 15+ DC sites across the Front Range, partnering with ChargePoint and Tesla Supercharger networks.
Whole-Home Integration
The real innovation is not the charger—it's the control logic. We integrate your EV charger with your home's smart energy management system, your solar production, and your battery backup. The system learns: if your battery is full and solar is generating, charge the car now and shift charging away from peak utility hours. Over time, this saves 10–20% on charging costs.
Commercial Network Design
For office parks, apartment complexes, and municipal fleets, we design distributed networks with load-balancing, user authentication, and billing integration. A 30-unit charger network demands sophisticated power management to avoid simultaneous peak loads that would trigger demand charges.

- Load Analysis: We calculate your vehicle's charging profile, home peak demand, and available electrical capacity. Some homes need panel upgrades; others are ready to go.
- Equipment Selection: Based on your vehicle type, charging frequency, and integration goals, we recommend Tesla Wall Connector, Wallbox, or ChargePoint hardware.
- Permitting: We apply with the City of Boulder's electrical division, securing all required approvals and inspection schedules.
- Installation: Licensed electricians run conduit, terminate connections, and integrate with your smart home system.
- Commissioning: We test charging rates, monitor voltage drop, and verify integration with your energy management dashboard.
- Training: You receive a full walkthrough of scheduling, cost tracking, and optimization features.

Residential Level 2: $1,500–$3,500 installed (equipment + labor + permits). Typical payback: 8–12 years through fuel savings and reduced electricity costs.
Commercial DC Network: $40,000–$150,000 per site depending on power capacity. Revenue potential: $2,000–$5,000 per month per charger through pay-per-use fees and utility rebates.
Federal tax credits up to $7,500 are available for residential installations. The DOE EV Charging Loan Program offers financing for commercial projects.

How long does installation take?
Level 2 chargers typically take 1–2 days of on-site work. Permitting can add 2–4 weeks depending on the city's processing time. We coordinate with inspectors to minimize delays.
Will a Level 2 charger work with any EV?
Most modern EVs use the SAE J1772 connector standard. Tesla vehicles use Tesla's proprietary connector but accept J1772 adapters. We verify compatibility during the energy audit.
What if I don't have a 200A panel?
Many homes have older 100A service. We assess whether a panel upgrade is needed, and if so, budget $2,000–$4,000 for the work. Sometimes we can load-shift existing circuits instead.
